Sandra Iafrate, a Toronto-based mixed media artist, delves into the exploration of personal identity through portraiture, landscapes, and still life. In her thesis exhibition, Portrait of Past and Present, Sandra creates a bridge between the past and present by layering found materials such as antique maps, book pages, lace, and fabric, alongside personal notes and technical drawings.
