Elsha Leventis

Since its beginnings as Elsha's thesis at the Ontario College of Art and Design more than ten years ago, her work has continued to evolve. Her paintings are sophisticated and at least one "expert" has commented that her art is complex in its simplicity.
She loves the process of working in oil on mylar. Over time she has learned to orchestrate more purposefully the processes and techniques, but the outcome is always a surprise as the materials continue to change until dry. She has had the happy fortune to be exhibited locally in Toronto, and more recently, further abroad, with representation in Ottawa, Montreal, and the United States.
